About the Role

You will lead data strategy for crypto trading and DeFi, build and maintain quantitative models and predictive analytics, and design high-fidelity dashboards. You will mine high-volume on-chain and off-chain datasets, ensure data quality across pipelines, troubleshoot anomalies, and present clear, actionable findings to stakeholders to influence trading and treasury decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science Computer Science Quantitative Finance Economics or related field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in data science or quantitative analytics preferably within trading hedge fund or fintech
• Expertise in statistical modeling time series analysis and predictive analytics applied to financial datasets
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker
• Expert skills in Python including NumPy and Pandas and in SQL for complex data manipulation
• Experience working with high-frequency and high-volume data and managing end-to-end data analysis projects and database architecture
• Experience with BigQuery Snowflake and dbt
• Strong working knowledge of cryptocurrency blockchain technology and DeFi protocols preferred
• Exceptional problem-solving analytical and technical communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain quantitative models and analytical tools for trading performance, capital efficiency, and P&L analysis
• Apply advanced statistical and time series techniques to optimize liquidity, treasury yield, and risk exposure in proprietary trading and DeFi
• Partner with Trading, Research, Risk, and Treasury Operations to deploy data-driven solutions and reporting
• Design and implement dynamic real-time dashboards and visualization tools for trading metrics and risk indicators
• Analyze high-volume datasets including exchange order books, on-chain transaction logs, and smart contract data to identify trends and risks
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across market and financial data pipelines
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders using data storytelling
