TL;DR

Customer Advocacy Principal (Marketing): Owning the strategy and execution for how customer stories drive growth, including producing case studies, deploying customer voices in sales cycles, and cultivating a network of customer champions. Focus on building the luminaries program and Customer Advisory Board to elevate top customers as thought leaders and create a feedback loop for product and strategy.

Salary: $176,500 - $230,500

What you will do

  • Own the customer advocacy strategy end-to-end, partnering with VP and C-level stakeholders to align on priorities and secure investment.
  • Produce case studies (written and video) and extract proof points for Sales and campaigns.
  • Build and scale the reference program, maintaining a segmented reference database.
  • Build a program that elevates top customers as industry voices, placing them at conferences, webinars, and press opportunities.
  • Drive the annual customer awards program end-to-end, managing nominations and leveraging winners for various opportunities.
  • Own the CAB strategy and execution, planning in-person meetings and virtual sessions to gather strategic feedback.

Requirements

  • 10-12+ years of experience in customer marketing, customer advocacy, or customer success at a B2B company.
  • Track record of building, scaling, and proving ROI on customer programs with measurable business impact.
  • Experience partnering with VP and C-level stakeholders and presenting to executive leadership.
  • Strategic leadership skills to set the vision, build the roadmap, and influence cross-functional priorities.
  • Relationship skills to earn customer trust and make requests without burning goodwill.
  • Operational excellence to build systems, manage complexity, and deliver reliably at scale.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing a Customer Advisory Board or executive engagement program.
  • Familiarity with advocacy platforms.
  • Background in HR tech, benefits, or employer services.
