Associate Manager, Commercial Operations & Analytics (Life Sciences)

Location: Hybrid in Boston or New York; must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing basis without current or future employer sponsorship.

Salary: $130,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead proposal development and oversee projects to ensure methodological quality, timely delivery, and budget compliance.
• Build and enhance complex reports, online tools, and data processes, and communicate analytical insights to clients.
• Use SAS, Python, and VBA to improve data processing and reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage client engagements, project risks, financial activities, statements of work, invoices, and stakeholder communication.
• Identify growth opportunities, develop new offerings, and improve analytics and consulting best practices.
• Lead diverse teams, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to recruitment, training, engagement, and organizational initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree and at least 6 years of professional experience in data and analytics within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial functions, including data management, sales operations, commercial analytics, and BI/reporting.
• Strong coding skills in SAS, Python, and VBA, with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Advanced analytical and quantitative ability with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proven project management and people management experience as a team leader or manager.
• Permanent US work authorization is required; employer-sponsored work authorization is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of current analytics trends and best practices in the life sciences industry.
