Analytics Consultant (Healthcare)

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days working from home

Base pay: $69,800–$125,900 annually

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance recurring reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
• Query internal and external data sources to identify meaningful insights.
• Perform ad hoc analyses covering healthcare utilization, financial performance, enrollment, payment integrity, utilization management savings, and population health.
• Translate complex healthcare and financial data into clear recommendations for clients and business partners.
• Collaborate with Sales & Account Management, Network, Wellness, Communications, Underwriting, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of relevant experience, a related master’s degree, or six years of relevant experience.
• Highly proficient in querying varied data sources and extracting actionable insights.
• Strong programming experience with SQL, R, or Python.
• Ability to create dynamic dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
• Strong business intelligence, communication, presentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Must work in a hybrid arrangement with at least three days per week in the Chicago office; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Healthcare industry experience, including payer, provider, pharmacy, public health, or epidemiology.
• Experience with recurring reports, client-facing analytics, and ad hoc analytical requests.
• Familiarity with healthcare claims, membership, eligibility, utilization, payment integrity, financial, or actuarial data.
