Senior Data Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Data Engineer (Data Platform): Building and maintaining robust data ingestion pipelines and platform infrastructure with an accent on scalability, reliability, and modern data stack orchestration. Focus on designing performant data workflows, establishing CI/CD engineering standards, and supporting the development of customer-facing analytics products.

Location: Must be based in London (in-office 3 days/week)

What you will do

• Own and improve data ingestion pipelines across the stack.
• Design and implement orchestration for complex data workflows.
• Establish CI/CD practices and improve observability across the data platform.
• Contribute to the development of hirify.global IQ 2.0 customer-facing analytics.
• Collaborate with DevOps on infrastructure and support stakeholders with reliable insights.

Requirements

• Strong SQL skills, including performance optimization and complex queries.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines at scale.
• Proficiency in Python for production data workflows.
• Experience with modern data stack tools like Snowflake, dbt, or Fivetran.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
• Must be able to work from the London office 3 days per week.
