Data Analyst (BI & Operations) (Fintech)

TL;DR

Data Analyst (BI & Operations) (Fintech): Solve real business problems using data and automation, improving access to insight and strengthening operational controls in Collections & Recoveries, Fraud & Financial Crime, or Lending analytics teams. Focus on building scalable datasets, defining metrics, and delivering self-serve dashboards that support decision making across the business.

Location: This hybrid role requires you to come to our London office 2-3 days a week. You'll also have the option of working from abroad for up to 120 days a year. Subject to having the right to work in the country of choice

What you will do

• Work closely with stakeholders across Product, Credit Strategy and Fraud to understand business problems and deliver analytical solutions
• Use SQL to explore data, build structured datasets and deliver repeatable analysis
• Build and maintain dashboards in tools such as Tableau or similar
• Deliver recurring MI and reporting packs for stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes
• Support performance monitoring across operational or risk domains

Requirements

• Experience in a data, BI or analytics role
• Strong SQL skills and confidence working with large datasets. Python is a plus
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker or Power BI
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• High attention to detail and focus on data accuracy
• Clear communicator who can explain insights to non-technical stakeholders
