What you will do

• Contribute to engineering efforts within a cross-functional team to refine and advance the platform.
• Develop and maintain robust backend services using Java, Kafka, Postgres, and AWS technologies.

• Solve scaling challenges to ensure high system availability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high documentation standards.

Requirements

• Professional experience in backend development with Java.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, API design, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with asynchronous processing systems like Kafka or SQS.
• Commitment to agile, iterative development and automated testing.
• Must be prepared to work out of the Boston, MA office.
