TL;DR

Sr. Instructional Designer (SaaS): Creating and delivering educational content to drive product adoption and internal enablement for a homecare technology platform with an accent on complex instructional design models and adult learning theories. Focus on managing large-scale corporate education projects, leveraging AI for content creation, and maintaining accessibility standards across multimedia assets.

Location: Must be based in the New York City Metropolitan Area and able to work from the Midtown Manhattan office 3 days/week

Salary: $80,000–$90,000

What you will do

  • Apply adult learning theories to design interactive, learner-centric educational and adoption content.
  • Independently manage large-scale instructional design projects from intake through delivery.
  • Utilize AI tools to optimize workflow efficiency and accuracy in content creation.
  • Create diverse educational assets including videos, in-app tutorials, webinars, and interactive exercises.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy and drive product adoption.
  • Manage LMS administration, user permissions, and best practice standards for knowledge base platforms.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the New York City Metropolitan Area
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design within a SaaS company
  • Advanced experience with Articulate 360, Camtasia, Snagit, and enterprise LMS platforms
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and meet strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in applying accessibility standards to educational content
  • Experience in medical software training programs is highly preferred
