Compensation: $160,000–$200,000 + equity + benefits

What you will do

• Research and document company positions on complex accounting matters under US GAAP.
• Own end-to-end revenue recognition, including SSP analyses and revenue system implementation.
• Manage stock-based compensation accounting and coordinate 409A valuations.
• Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance on structuring transactions and new arrangements.
• Support tax functions including ASC 740 provisions and sales tax reconciliation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with active CPA required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting.
• Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP (specifically ASC 606, ASC 718, and ASC 842).
• Experience in the tech or SaaS industry.
• Proven ability to translate complex accounting concepts into clear, concise memos.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite, Carta, or Shareworks.
• Experience using or building AI tools to automate accounting processes.
