TL;DR

Director, HR Business Partner (Marketing): Driving people strategy and organizational design for the marketing organization with an accent on leadership development, talent planning, and operational effectiveness. Focus on scaling teams through complex change initiatives, coaching senior executives, and building high-performing, equitable organizational structures.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from New York, NY (Hybrid)

Salary: $185,000 – $223,000 per year

What you will do

  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership to align talent strategy with business objectives.
  • Lead complex organizational design efforts to optimize decision rights, structure, and collaboration models.
  • Coach senior leaders and managers to strengthen leadership effectiveness and decision-making capabilities.
  • Drive talent and performance strategies including calibration, development, and succession planning.
  • Lead large-scale change initiatives and navigate sensitive employee relations matters in partnership with legal teams.
  • Translate organizational data and metrics into actionable insights to inform executive decision-making.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience as an HRBP/People Partner supporting senior leadership, preferably within marketing or creative organizations.
  • Proven depth in organizational design, executive coaching, and talent strategy in high-growth environments.
  • Strong systems-thinking abilities to connect business outcomes with organizational health and team performance.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead complex change management and scale people programs.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with a data-driven approach to storytelling.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing ambitious goals with sustainable team culture.

Nice to have

  • Formal coaching certification or background.
  • Experience supporting consumer-facing creative organizations at scale.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise-level talent processes such as engagement programs and performance planning.
