About the Role

You will build and scale APIs and services that power the platform. You will work on performance-critical systems, benchmark and optimize services, develop new services and applications from scratch, maintain Kubernetes production deployments, write Python scripts and tooling, and run performance and load tests using tools like K6.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Golang for backend development
• Experience working with Kubernetes in production
• Familiarity with Python for scripting and tooling
• Strong background with Wireguard and Unix/Linux systems
• Experience with performance and load testing tools like K6
• Experience optimizing database performance and designing scalable architectures
• Familiarity with GitHub, Discord, Notion and Linear

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain API layers for services
• Benchmark services and identify bottlenecks
• Optimize infrastructure for performance
• Create new services and applications from scratch
• Perform performance and load testing
• Maintain Kubernetes production deployments
