What you will do

• Evolve the end-to-end order lifecycle, integrating taxes, fee management, and money return processes.
• Design and build efficient, loosely coupled microservices within a "build it and run it" agile environment.
• Collaborate with the Order Management squad and Staff engineers to align technical direction with the overall vision.
• Produce clean, consistent, and well-organized code to ensure seamless user experiences at scale.
• Identify and advocate for the prioritization of tasks to optimize system delivery and performance.
• Participate in bi-monthly technical rituals to share knowledge and improve engineering standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong expertise in system design, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of data architecture and APIs.
• Proven experience with performance optimization and scalability.
• English: High proficiency (C1+) required for working in an international team.
• Location: Must be based in Paris, France for the hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Fullstack mindset with curiosity about the entire technical stack.
• Experience with VueJS, TypeScript, or Nuxt.
