What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Golang-based libraries, CLI tools, and internal systems for developer workflows.
• Develop components in build systems including dependency management, caching, compilation, and CI/CD integration.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and ergonomics of developer tooling in large monorepos.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, security, and engineering productivity teams on architecture and integrations.
• Conduct code reviews, documentation, and promote engineering best practices.
• Identify workflow pain points and deliver automated solutions; perform root cause analysis for long-term fixes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Golang focused on infrastructure software, system tooling, or backend libraries (not web/API).
• Deep understanding of build systems, source control internals, and monorepo tooling.
• Experience with performance profiling, system-level debugging, and concurrent programming in Go.
• Track record contributing to internal platforms, build pipelines, or open-source tooling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Linux environments, and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bazel, Buck, Pants, or similar large-scale build tools.
• Familiarity with Git internals, repository management at scale.
• Prior work in developer productivity engineering or internal platform teams.
• Contributions to open-source Golang libraries or infrastructure.
• Exposure to security tooling, static analysis, or automated code review.
