What you will do

• Design and build RESTful APIs for mobile clients.
• Develop and maintain microservices running on Kubernetes.
• Build distributed systems in Go using cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Own the full lifecycle of technical design, implementation, and project success.
• Participate in the backend on-call rotation every 8-11 weeks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Data Science, and ML.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience as a backend or service engineer.
• 4+ years of experience working with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Proficiency with Go (Python is a bonus).
• Deep understanding of distributed computing, event-based architecture, and cloud design patterns.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, gRPC/Protobuf, Argo, and Kafka.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
