What you will do

• Conduct device-level failure analysis to support customer returns, product qualifications, yield excursions, and new product development.
• Perform electrical and physical fault isolation to identify root causes of failure efficiently and accurately.
• Generate detailed technical reports summarizing failure analysis findings.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and methodologies into the failure analysis workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in IC failure analysis.
• Proficiency in electrical fault isolation techniques including: Photo-emission, Static and dynamic laser stimulation, LVx, Scan diagnostics, ATE, Thermal imaging, Nanoprobing, Bench testing.
• Strong understanding of CAD layout, ATE and bench test datalogs, Digital and analog circuit design, Device physics, IC fabrication and packaging.
• Familiarity with common IC failure mechanisms and qualification stress methods.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with physical failure analysis tools and techniques such as: SEM, FIB, EDS, AFM, Planar delayering, Chemical deprocessing, Chemical decoration.
