Sr Software Developer (Fintech): Designing and delivering scalable, secure software to enhance digital experiences for members with an accent on engineering rigor and architectural thinking. Focus on improving reliability, performance, and long-term technical health across platforms.

Location: Must be a resident of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, NC, CA, or VA. If located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, hybrid work is required on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Otherwise, the role will be remote.

Salary: $141,800.00-$173,300.00

What you will do

• Build scalable, resilient, and secure services using modern engineering practices.
• Lead small to medium teams in designing, building, testing, and delivering system components and services.
• Collaborate with architects and product owners to define technical direction and long‑term engineering strategy.
• Mentor junior developers and SDETs through pairing, feedback, and knowledge‑sharing.
• Apply secure coding practices and use static analysis tools to identify and resolve vulnerabilities.
• Build and maintain data models, database scripts, and migrations; develop solutions for large datasets and analytics workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum five years of experience designing software and writing production code in a team environment required.
• Deep understanding of Secure Development best practices, demonstrated by regular use of static code analysis tools to explain and correct secure coding flaws required.
• Proven ability to deliver highly scalable solutions in multiple programming languages and technical environments over the entire product lifecycle required.
• Demonstrated expertise with one of the following required: .NET, C#, node.js and modern JavaScript Frameworks in TypeScript or JavaScript (React, Angular, etc.), or Python.
• System administration and automation with PowerShell or bash required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud‑hosted SQL‑based data stores and NoSQL systems preferred.
• Experience with full‑stack development across both front‑end and back‑end technologies preferred.
• Web & Service development experience using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core preferred.
