Sr Software Developer

Location: Remote within WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, NC, CA or VA. Candidates in Washington state within reasonable driving distance of Tukwila must work from headquarters on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; candidates outside the commute distance may work remotely from an approved state.

Salary: $141,800–$173,300 annually; full range $110,100–$204,900 annually. Performance-based compensation incentives may also be available.

What you will do

• Design, prototype, build, test, and deliver scalable, resilient, and secure software services.
• Lead small to medium engineering workstreams across design, development, testing, and delivery.
• Contribute to architecture, technical roadmaps, modernization initiatives, and engineering standards.
• Improve code quality through reviews, clean design, secure coding, static analysis, and automated testing.
• Mentor junior developers and SDETs through pairing, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
• Build data models, database scripts, migrations, analytics workflows, and CI/CD automation across the full SDLC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience designing software and writing production code in team environments.
• Expertise in at least one of .NET, C#, Node.js with modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, or Python.
• Experience with public cloud technologies, PowerShell or Bash, SQL, large datasets, data warehousing, ETL, REST/web services, and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of secure development, SOLID principles, object-oriented design, TDD, testing, Git, CI/CD, and YAML deployment pipelines.
• Experience leading teams, collaborating across business units, presenting technical concepts, and communicating clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-hosted SQL data stores, NoSQL systems, and full-stack development.
• Experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, Java Spring Boot, or service/API development.
• Experience with Angular, React Native, Flutter, Kotlin, or Java for Android.
