Salary: $130,000 – $170,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Own end-to-end new hire onboarding and offboarding, including payroll setup and benefits enrollment.
• Manage HRIS, payroll systems, and reporting tools while ensuring clean integration with accounting software.
• Partner with Finance to ensure accurate tax filings, audits, and compliance reporting (EEO-1, ACA, etc.).
• Maintain and update the employee handbook and policies regarding PTO, leave programs, and benefits.
• Design and facilitate employee lifecycle programs, including training and development initiatives.
• Act as a primary resource for employees to resolve day-to-day HR inquiries with discretion and care.

Requirements

• Proven experience in People Operations or HR management roles.
• In-depth knowledge of US labor laws, compliance, and tax reporting requirements.
• Strong experience managing HRIS and payroll infrastructure.
• Ability to work in-person at the NYC headquarters.
• High degree of discretion and ability to manage sensitive information.
