TL;DR

People Systems Manager (Workday): Leading and evolving core People systems and HRIS infrastructure with an accent on Workday configuration, complex integration design, and team leadership. Focus on building scalable HR technology architectures, driving AI-enabled capabilities, and managing cross-functional initiatives to support business growth.

Location: Must be based in Menlo Park, CA; in-person attendance expected at least 4 days per week.

Salary: $150,000–$225,000 USD (based on compensation zone).

What you will do

  • Lead and evolve core People Systems with a strong focus on Workday technical and functional domains.
  • Act as a hands-on technical lead for configuration, integration design, and solution implementation.
  • Manage and develop a distributed team of employees and contractors.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Engineering to deliver scalable systems solutions.
  • Design and maintain complex integrations using EIBs and Workday Studio.
  • Collaborate with AI engineering teams to integrate automated capabilities across HR platforms.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive People Systems or HRIS experience, including 2+ years of people management.
  • 4+ years of hands-on Workday experience, specifically in Core HCM.
  • Proven expertise in Workday integrations including EIBs and Workday Studio.
  • Experience with recruiting tools like Greenhouse or Ashby.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to thrive in high-growth environments.
  • Must be able to work in-person at the Menlo Park, CA office 4 days per week.

  • Practical interest and experience in AI, automation, and emerging HR tech trends.
  • Experience supporting global expansion and M&A integration projects.
