What you will do
- Scale privacy program operations and lead data protection and AI risk assessments.
- Translate legal requirements into actionable, developer-friendly guidance for engineering teams.
- Operationalize AI governance frameworks across the organization.
- Build and maintain program playbooks and track key metrics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Security, and Data teams to embed compliance in release plans.
- Monitor and adapt to evolving legal developments in privacy and AI.
Requirements
- Location: Must be located near a hirify.global office (San Francisco, Minneapolis, or Birmingham).
- 3+ years of experience in privacy, data governance, risk, security, or compliance.
- Practical experience with privacy program delivery, including PIAs/DPIAs and data inventories.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles and cloud or data platforms.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Exposure to AI/ML/LLM technologies in a governance or operational context.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPM, or AIGP.
- Experience with privacy tooling like OneTrust or Transcend.
- Prior experience working within technology companies.
