Salary: $125,900–$150,000

What you will do

• Scale privacy program operations and lead data protection and AI risk assessments.
• Translate legal requirements into actionable, developer-friendly guidance for engineering teams.
• Operationalize AI governance frameworks across the organization.
• Build and maintain program playbooks and track key metrics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Security, and Data teams to embed compliance in release plans.
• Monitor and adapt to evolving legal developments in privacy and AI.

Requirements

• Location: Must be located near a hirify.global office (San Francisco, Minneapolis, or Birmingham).
• 3+ years of experience in privacy, data governance, risk, security, or compliance.
• Practical experience with privacy program delivery, including PIAs/DPIAs and data inventories.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and cloud or data platforms.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Exposure to AI/ML/LLM technologies in a governance or operational context.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPM, or AIGP.
• Experience with privacy tooling like OneTrust or Transcend.
• Prior experience working within technology companies.
