TL;DR

Sales Manager (Automation): Driving business growth for process automation and digitalization solutions in the Pulp & Paper industry across the EMEA region with an accent on relationship management, technical consultative selling, and strategic partnership development. Focus on managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure and collaborating with internal product teams to deliver high-value industrial solutions.

Location: EMEA Region (Hybrid, must be based in an EMEA country)

Salary: From €3,802.93 gross monthly (market-based depending on experience)

What you will do

  • Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with key customers.
  • Identify customer challenges and propose innovative automation and digitalization solutions.
  • Lead the inquiry process, including collecting requirements and analyzing information.
  • Prepare quotes, negotiate contracts, and drive projects to successful closure.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and ensure smooth project handovers to operations teams.
  • Contribute to accurate sales forecasting and regional budget planning.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in sales of automation and digitalization for industrial service solutions, preferably in pulp and paper.
  • Strong knowledge of Process Automation Control Systems including DCS, PLC, SCADA, SIS, and HMI.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical value to stakeholders in an international context.
  • Proficiency in business English and German (Italian language skills are a plus).
  • Availability to travel across the EMEA region up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be based in an EMEA country with legal authorization to work.
