Business Development Representative

TL;DR

Business Development Representative: Managing inbound sales inquiries and proactively creating outbound pipeline for the ShareFile platform with an accent on lead qualification and CRM data management. Focus on mastering sales enablement tools and driving qualified opportunities to transition into future account management responsibilities.

Location: Must be based in Raleigh, NC (Hybrid: 3-4 days/week in office)

Salary: $42,500 – $52,500 + commission

What you will do

• Manage inbound sales requests via phone, email, and web.
• Prospect and create outbound sales pipeline through strategic outreach.
• Maintain accurate customer data and interaction records in Salesforce.
• Identify and qualify decision-makers using sales intelligence tools.
• Articulate technical and business benefits of the ShareFile platform to customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet KPIs and sales objectives.

Requirements

• Must be local to Raleigh, NC and available for hybrid work.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior experience in lead generation, sales support, or inside sales.
• Strong discipline, organizational skills, and a competitive drive.
• Proficiency in LinkedIn and related sales intelligence platforms.
• Ability to commit to full-time in-office attendance during the initial ramp period.

Nice to have

• One year of experience in an inside sales or support role.
• Previous experience with Greenfield software sales.
