What you will do
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to acquire new business within SLED institutions.
- Engage senior government executives to build long-term partnerships and close sales opportunities.
- Maintain detailed sales forecasts and track pipeline metrics for predictability.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to successful deal closure.
- Represent the company through strategic collaborations with partners to drive market penetration.
- Optimize sales performance by analyzing territory data and customer mission requirements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of field sales experience in enterprise software or business technology targeting SLED institutions.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Proven track record of over-quota achievement and growing a sales territory.
- Technical acumen with the ability to articulate business value and operational mission impact.
- Proficiency in consultative selling of APM or infrastructure management software.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

- Previous experience selling observability solutions.
- Familiarity with consumption-based sales models.
