TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or near New York City (Hybrid)

Salary: $192,500 – $211,750 per year

What you will do

  • Partner with product and design to prioritize and execute the team's long-term strategy and quarterly roadmap.
  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering innovation and technical growth.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure requirements are met and workflows are optimized.
  • Drive technical decision-making and lead architectural discussions across the organization.
  • Hire, retain, and develop high-performing engineering talent.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a software engineer working on production web applications.
  • 1+ year of experience in managing an engineering team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and core web development technologies.
  • Must be based in the New York City area for hybrid work.
