TL;DR
Senior RTL Engineer (VLSI/SoC): Developing complex digital designs from system architecture and microarchitecture through RTL coding and tape-out with an accent on Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL, SoC design, and advanced design checks. Focus on feasibility studies, lint and CDC validation, timing constraints, synthesis and STA collaboration, and meeting functional, performance, power, and area goals.
Location: Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Brasov, Bucharest, or Iasi, Romania

What you will do
- Own feasibility studies covering system architecture, requirements, and external interfaces.
- Develop microarchitecture and logic designs from architecture through tape-out with functional leads.
- Perform RTL coding, lint checks, CDC tests, and timing constraint development.
- Collaborate with synthesis, STA, physical design, and DFT teams to meet functional, performance, power, and area targets.
- Develop design flows and supporting tools.
Requirements
- 8+ years of VLSI design experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.
- Strong Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL skills.
- Experience with complex design-unit microarchitecture, SoC design, lint, CDC, and low-power design.
- Proficiency with synthesis, STA, and scripting or programming in Perl, C, or Python.
- Familiarity with ARM, RISC-V, or x86 instruction sets and verification methodologies.
