Senior AI Engagement Manager

Location: United States; remote work within the US. The role requires approximately 50% travel for client engagements. hirify.global has hubs in San Francisco, New York City, and Chicago, with some roles based near a hub.

Annual base pay: $151,000–$190,000 in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City; $132,000–$165,000 in all other US locations. Performance bonuses and equity may also be available.

What you will do

• Own direct delivery for AI client engagements, from initial scoping and pilot design through execution and final delivery.
• Serve as the primary client contact throughout the AI engagement lifecycle.
• Lead strategic advisory discussions with senior stakeholders and translate AI capabilities into actionable business solutions.
• Manage 3–5 concurrent engagements while balancing timelines, deliverables, risks, and client expectations.
• Support presales and renewal discussions with AI and life sciences expertise.
• Document lessons learned and develop repeatable frameworks and playbooks for the AI engagement practice.

Requirements

• Management consulting experience focused on strategic advisory work, preferably with a top-tier or life sciences-focused firm.
• Direct experience with pharmaceutical, biotech, or broader life sciences clients.
• Hands-on experience scoping, managing, or delivering client-facing AI or digital transformation pilots.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to lead complex conversations with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Familiarity with healthcare data, commercial life sciences functions, or real-world evidence; willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

• Experience at a top-tier or life sciences-focused consulting firm.
• Experience developing AI-enhanced workflows, automations, or prompts.
