Applied AI Strategist (AI)

Location: London, UK; hybrid policy requiring staff to be in an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time. The role covers EMEA and requires more than 50% travel across the region.

Annual compensation: £185,000–£225,000 GBP OTE, including base salary and target sales commissions or bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead executive briefings for strategic EMEA accounts, adapting AI narratives, tone, and proof points to different markets and cultures.
• Develop executive narratives, value cases, strategic proposals, and success plans with Sales and Applied AI.
• Create reusable industry perspectives, value frameworks, and proposal templates for sectors including financial services, insurance, telecommunications, manufacturing, automotive, life sciences, energy, public sector, retail, and luxury.
• Position the EU AI Act, GDPR, DORA, EU AML regulations, data residency, and data sovereignty as part of the business case for Claude.
• Partner with Sales and Applied AI before and after customer engagements, acting as a trusted advisor and sustaining deal momentum.
• Travel regularly across EMEA for executive engagements, workshops, and strategic account meetings.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology or management consulting, including significant executive-level experience in EMEA markets.
• Experience influencing C-suite leaders at large European enterprises and adapting to different business cultures.
• Deep understanding of how regulated organizations evaluate, adopt, and scale technology.
• Ability to connect AI capabilities to strategic outcomes through value frameworks and business cases.
• Experience creating executive-grade industry perspectives, strategic proposals, and success plans.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and professional experience; travel exceeds 50% of the role.

Nice to have

• English plus another major European language.
• Experience as a CTO, Field CTO, consulting partner, or senior technical seller.
