Business Development Representative (SaaS): Developing assigned territory through prospecting and nurturing activities to generate high-quality opportunities. Focus on building relationships with business and IT executives and managing early stages of the sales process.
Location: Hybrid, 3 days a week in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 CAD per year + bonus

What you will do
- Work directly with Account Executives to develop assigned territory with targeted strategies and account plans.
- Generate leads and nurture opportunities within assigned territory in accounts with 3,000+ employees.
- Engage in value-based conversations with business and IT executives within prospective clients.
- Execute proven sales processes to generate interest and new sales opportunities.
- Manage the early stages of the sales process, including qualification and pipeline creation.
- Map prospective accounts to find where our solutions fit within their environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Business Development/Inside Sales, with success in generating opportunities.
- Eagerness to make calls and drive outbound activity.
- Excellent writing skills that demonstrate professionalism.
- Intellectual curiosity and keenness to learn about critical issues facing global companies.
- Ability to take initiative and maintain a high level of organization.
- A desire to win through the closing of team sales and revenue generation.
