Design Director

Location: Must be based in Poland, Romania, Brazil, or Colombia.

What you will do

• Lead design on client projects, from initial engagement shaping and strategy to final delivery.
• Coach and grow the design team through actionable feedback and hands-on guidance.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to align design-to-development processes and resolve handoff bottlenecks.
• Improve team rituals, documentation, and design system evolution for faster, higher-quality delivery.
• Represent design to client stakeholders, including VPs and C-level executives, to ensure business alignment.
• Manage account health, including maintaining high client satisfaction (NPS) and team engagement (eNPS).

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience, with 4-5+ years in a Director or Head of Design role.
• Must have previous experience leading design teams within a services company (agency or consultancy).
• Strong product mindset with a history of shipping high-quality products in cross-functional environments.
• Direct experience engaging with VP and C-level enterprise stakeholders.
• Hands-on capability in Figma and ability to step into design execution when needed.
• English proficiency: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.
