TL;DR
Staff Product Designer (Conversational AI Platform): Defining and shipping conversational, declarative, and generative UI for financial products on WhatsApp, with an accent on cross-product journeys, real-time model-generated interfaces, and native iOS and Android expansion. Focus on researching user behavior, establishing interaction patterns and recovery paths, integrating compliance into the conversation, and translating platform direction into shipped product work.
Location: Buenos Aires or Córdoba; currently fully remote, with a future transition to a hybrid hub-centric model in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo.

is a hyper-growth Series C fintech building an AI-powered conversational financial companion for Latinos in the US, with remittances, credit, savings, and wallet services.
What you will do
- Lead discovery across Credit, Core Send, Payments, Geos, Activations, and other product areas by interviewing users, reviewing transcripts, and analyzing product data.
- Define how declarative and generative UI should work, including structured components, model composition, fixed patterns, defaults, and recovery from incorrect model behavior.
- Ship the first version of the conversational platform on WhatsApp and define how the patterns extend to native iOS and Android products.
- Set direction for how products coexist in one conversation, how context carries across journeys, and how users understand actions involving their money.
- Partner with squad designers, PMs, engineers, legal, and risk teams to turn platform direction into shipped experiences and compliant disclosures.
Requirements
- 8+ years designing consumer products, including at least 2 years leading design for a conversational or AI-native product.
- Experience leading cross-product discovery and turning research into adopted product direction.
- Hands-on experience with declarative UI and, ideally, generative UI, including runtime constraints, defaults, and recovery paths.
- Deep Figma fluency, comfort prototyping in code, and at least two mobile products shipped end to end.
- Experience using AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Claude Design, or Codex as part of the design process.
- Native or near-native Spanish and advanced English required. A portfolio containing at least one conversational or generative UI project is required.
Nice to have
- Fintech or other regulated-domain experience.
- Experience with WhatsApp Business Platform or similar messaging surfaces.
- Experience with generative UI tools such as json-render.dev or A2UI.
