Location: Must be based in or able to commute to San Francisco or Denver

Salary: $160,000–$200,000

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end financial close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Lead the development and application of accounting policies across all business activities.
• Manage core operational accounting functions including AR, AP, payroll, and revenue recognition.
• Oversee financial systems implementation and drive process improvements and automation.
• Coordinate year-end audits and maintain relationships with external tax and audit service providers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of public and industry accounting experience, preferably in the SaaS or Technology sector.
• Strong expertise in US GAAP, ASC 606 standards, and internal controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is preferred).
• Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing accounting teams.
• Experience managing ERP systems and scaling financial workflows.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial issues to management.
