What you will do

  • Oversee daily high-volume payment runs and develop process improvements for payment processing operations.
  • Direct prefund management and accounting, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide quality control for bank reconciliations and ensure timely period-close procedures.
  • Design, implement, and enforce auditable processes to prevent errors and mitigate risk.
  • Partner with IT to resolve system issues and drive automation initiatives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing accounting and rebate fulfillment team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • 2+ years in an accounting leadership role.
  • 2+ years coordinating/managing third-party payment vendors preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP compliance and audit support.
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of accounting software; Oracle or NetSuite preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with ERP implementation/accounting system change highly desired
