Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY. Currently, all staff are expected to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. Visa sponsorship is offered, but not guaranteed for every role or candidate.

What you will do
- Conduct financial analysis for growth, margin, discount impact, and deal profitability modeling.
- Collaborate with sales teams to optimize deal structures that meet customer needs and protect company interests.
- Review and manage approvals for enterprise deals, focusing on pricing, contract terms, and financial implications.
- Serve as the primary liaison between sales, finance, legal, and compliance teams throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Help develop and maintain deal approval policies, pricing guidelines, and exception handling procedures.
- Create and refine approval workflows, escalation procedures, and standardized templates for complex deals.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in deal desk, finance, sales strategy and operations, or related analytical roles, preferably in high-growth technology.
- Hands-on experience building sophisticated financial models, conducting pricing optimization, and structuring complex deals.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with proven success coordinating across multiple departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong process improvement instincts and the ability to design scalable workflows.
- Experience with CRM systems, CPQ tools, and contract management platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
Nice to have
- Experience at a SaaS, cloud, or AI/ML company with complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Background in consulting, investment banking, or other roles requiring deep analytical and strategic thinking.
- Experience with deal desk operations at companies with subscription and consumption-based business models.
- Knowledge of enterprise software contract terms and industry-standard commercial practices.
- Understanding of AI business models and unique commercial considerations.
