What you will do

  • Define and own the global football marketing strategy to drive consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performance marketing team including CRM and brand specialists.
  • Build cross-functional relationships with regional leads, product, data, and commercial teams.
  • Oversee the global marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and measurable ROI across channels.
  • Develop and activate strategic partnerships and sponsorships to amplify reach.
  • Track performance KPIs across the full funnel and report strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Senior marketing leadership experience (VP or Director level) within a global sports, media, or subscription business.
  • Genuine passion for football and deep understanding of the global football ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of driving consumer growth and managing significant marketing budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams within matrix organizations.
  • Exceptional communication skills with executive presence to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Must be based in or able to work from London as per the hybrid office requirement.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with streaming, OTT, or subscription-based business models.
  • Experience marketing to diverse, international audiences across multiple languages and cultures.
  • Existing network within the global football or sports media industry.
  • Strong understanding of data-driven marketing and CRM best practices at scale.
