Data Analyst (Python/SQL)

Location: Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA. This position is for a government client and requires US citizenship or full green card status.

Salary: $77,040–$146,640 annually for a full-time schedule. Other geographic ranges apply in California, Colorado, Massachusetts, New York City, Washington, and Washington, DC.

What you will do

• Analyze large IT datasets to identify trends, patterns, defects, variation, and root causes.
• Gather, structure, organize, clean, and prepare data for analysis and business intelligence.
• Create rigorous visualizations and clear data-driven narratives for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Translate business objectives and complex problems into actionable analytical insights and solutions.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams while managing multiple projects.

Requirements

• US citizenship or full green card status required for the government-client position.
• 5+ years of data analysis experience.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex data insights.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Degree in industrial engineering, finance, economics, or another quantitative discipline.
• Experience with Looker, Power BI, QuickSight, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, Python, R, or SQL.
• ASQ Six Sigma or cloud data analytics certification.
