Data Analyst (Manufacturing)

Salary: $73,200–$117,800 per year

What you will do

• Discover, acquire, prepare, assess, and maintain datasets from internal sources for business-unit analyses and investigative requests.
• Perform data analysis, visualization, data quality improvements, and troubleshooting of data incidents, including root-cause resolution.
• Apply SQL and statistical techniques to acquire, enrich, and analyze data.
• Define business problems, opportunities, relevant dimensions, measures, goals, roles, and sustainment plans.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, business operations, consultants, and cross-functional teams to develop data views and solutions.
• Support citizen analysts and contribute to training, technical documentation, change management, and analytics communities of practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• At least three years of experience in data analysis, information technology, or a related area.
• Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Proficiency in SQL, statistical techniques, and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel 20%.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, C++, and/or C#.
• Basic understanding of predictive and prescriptive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
