Solutions Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco or New York City. San Francisco candidates work hybrid from the office 3 days per week; New York City candidates work fully remotely. Travel up to 30% to meet customers and prospects.

Compensation: Tier 1 (San Francisco, New York City, Seattle) OTE $208K–$270K; Tier 2 (Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, D.C.) OTE $187K–$240K; Tier 3 (all others) OTE $176K–$230K. Equity is offered.

What you will do

• Own the technical layer of enterprise deals from discovery through close in partnership with Account Executives.
• Run tailored Optimize demos, lead Proof of Concept planning, and configure solutions based on Workflow AI capabilities.
• Build ROI narratives using customer workflow data to quantify time savings and avoided costs.
• Resolve technical and security questions with Engineering and support enterprise procurement.
• Represent customer needs to Product and create repeatable pre-sales assets and playbooks.
• Serve as a technical reference point for the go-to-market organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Account Management, or a comparable pre-sales technical role at a high-growth SaaS company.
• Strong AI fluency, including LLM architecture, prompt design, model behavior, and AI output quality.
• Experience translating customer requirements for AI/ML Engineering teams and participating in technical solutioning.
• Ability to explain workflow data capture, processing, and insight generation to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of enterprise workflows and operational tools such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, and SAP.
• Ability to build business cases, validate assumptions, and demonstrate quantifiable customer impact.

Nice to have

• Experience with process mining, workflow intelligence, or operational analytics tools.
• Experience working inside an AI/ML product team or deploying AI-powered enterprise products.
• Experience in a founding or first-of-its-kind role at a high-growth SaaS company.
• Familiarity with enterprise AI security reviews, model governance, or responsible AI practices.
