Technical Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Remote, New York region

Base salary: $140,000–$150,000 annually in New York

What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of registry software for renewable energy, carbon, fuels, and plastics markets.
• Plan initiatives for registry clients, including business development, scope facilitation, product specifications, and market or client delivery.
• Convert business concepts and feature requests into actionable proposals and suitable implementation approaches.
• Collaborate with clients, commercial teams, product peers, architects, and engineering teams to prioritize work and allocate resources.
• Lead engineering delivery from project inception and client workshops through status reporting, UAT, and go-live.
• Define initiative success metrics, evaluate the product portfolio, and improve sequencing through agile product and project management practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in IT, systems administration, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS or environmental, carbon, or ESG markets.
• Proven portfolio delivery experience, including 2MM++ delivery.
• Experience with Azure or Jira in agile projects.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, client-facing, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to create user journeys, user stories, wireframes, and basic diagrams, and to document functional and nonfunctional requirements.

Nice to have

• MBA or experience in an IT role.
• Agile certification.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL, NoSQL, and markup languages.
