Technical Product Manager (AI)

Location: Remote; open to current California residents only. Occasional East Coast hours are required to accommodate customers in Europe and Asia. Remote employees work from home and visit the San Diego headquarters for group events and in-person collaboration.

Annual salary: $162,000–$191,000, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the platform and integration strategy, roadmap, and ecosystem priorities.
• Translate clinical, operational, customer, and partner requirements into product and integration specifications.
• Design, prototype, test, and validate integration solutions with engineering and customer teams.
• Drive integrations from discovery through launch, ensuring reliability, measurable value, and compliance.
• Define platform standards and tools that support internal teams and external partners.
• Track interoperability standards such as CDISC, HL7 FHIR, and ODM, and define KPIs for performance, uptime, adoption, and ecosystem growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years focused on platforms, integrations, or technical products.
• Experience managing external integrations or platform ecosystems in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, APIs, system integrations, and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical translation skills.

Nice to have

• SQL knowledge.
• Experience integrating products with external APIs to produce one-off reports.
• Life sciences industry experience.
• Experience with regulated data environments such as HIPAA or GxP.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
