What you will do
- Define and evolve the Product Infrastructure roadmap, building AI-native tools to improve developer velocity and platform reliability.
- Own and scale core application frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling to reduce cognitive load and cycle time.
- Establish and champion reliability practices including SLOs, observability standards, and incident readiness.
- Collaborate with product engineers, Cloud Platform, Security, and Data Engineering teams to align on scalable and secure platform standards.
- Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team focused on developer productivity and reliability.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or near New York City, San Francisco, or Seattle with hybrid work schedule
- Experience managing and scaling high-performing software engineering teams with backend or infrastructure product engineering background.
- Proven ability to measure and improve developer velocity through tooling, frameworks, or process improvements.
- Strong skills balancing reliability, scalability, and speed in fast-paced production environments.
- Excellent communication and technical leadership skills to align cross-functional teams.
