What you will do

• Lead and develop engineering teams focused on developer experience, compute clusters, and shared platform tooling.
• Define and maintain an opinionated path for service development, including CI/CD pipelines, observability, and infrastructure standards.
• Partner with domain engineering leaders to prioritize and deliver platform capabilities that unblock cross-functional work.
• Review technical designs and provide hands-on guidance on distributed systems, infrastructure-as-code, and architecture tradeoffs.
• Manage hiring, retention, and professional development of engineering staff within the platform organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience in engineering management or technical team leadership.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native infrastructure, specifically Kubernetes, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Demonstrated experience establishing standardized CI/CD pipelines and observability stacks.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Ability to translate complex infrastructure requirements into actionable team priorities.
