What you will do
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts including SaaS agreements, vendor, and partner contracts.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, Security, and Product teams on legal and business risk issues.
- Provide legal support for HR, employment, product compliance, marketing, and privacy initiatives.
- Identify and escalate legal and regulatory risks with practical, business-aligned recommendations.
- Support legal department operations, processes, templates, and playbook improvements.
- Assist General Counsel with governance, compliance, policy development, and outside counsel management.
Requirements
- Must be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction with JD from an accredited law school.
- 5+ years of legal experience including law firm and in-house roles, preferably in technology or SaaS.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS commercial contracting and software business legal issues.
- Excellent contract drafting, negotiation skills, and ability to translate legal risk into business context.
- Self-starter comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass federal, state, and county background checks and complete local in-person verification.
