Location: Remote (US/Canada)

Salary: $130K - $165K

What you will do

• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and Procurement to engage with current and future customers, review contractual edits, and help negotiate and close important deals.
• Draft and negotiate various agreements (NDAs, SaaS, vendor contracts, partnerships, etc.).
• Provide product counseling and risk assessments for the development of new features, product offerings, marketing initiatives, and user-facing materials.
• Support the rollout and improvement of contract lifecycle management and associated platforms.
• Monitor and respond to day-to-day legal inquiries from cross-functional teams and help with ad hoc legal projects.
• Provide practical advice on regulatory, data privacy, and cybersecurity matters, including GDPR, GLBA, CCPA/CPRA, and other state privacy laws and other regulations.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state bar and/or European country.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience at a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Experience supporting a sales organization.
• Ability to take ownership of your work and manage projects independently.
• Comfort and skill in navigating complexity and ambiguity, and working on a leanly staffed team.
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
