TL;DR

Senior Sales Business Retention Associate (SaaS/Tax Research): Managing renewal cycles and revenue growth for a portfolio of existing customers with an accent on consultative sales and proactive relationship building. Focus on executing renewal strategies, identifying upselling opportunities, and ensuring product adoption to meet annual revenue and retention targets.

Location: Must be based in the USA (Hybrid: 8 days/month in office in Coppell, TX; Columbus, OH; Minneapolis, MN; Riverwoods, IL; or Kennesaw, GA).

Compensation: $40,000 - $67,550 USD (plus commission).

What you will do

  • Own the full renewal lifecycle for an assigned portfolio of existing customer accounts.
  • Proactively engage customers 90–120 days prior to contract expiration to secure renewals and mitigate churn risk.
  • Conduct consultative sales processes to align research and audit solutions with client business needs.
  • Identify and convert opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to increase account revenue.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and activity tracking within CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and product teams to translate client requirements into functional specifications.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the USA and able to attend the office for 8 days/month.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong consultative sales skills and ability to manage complex renewal cycles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • English proficiency required (verbal and written).
  • Ability to travel independently 5–10% of the time.
