TL;DR

Talent Activation Strategy and Projects Manager (HR): Driving the execution of high-priority People initiatives and scaling systems for a rapidly growing organization with an accent on performance culture, manager effectiveness, and operational rigor. Focus on building durable HR processes, integrating AI tools into People workflows, and partnering with leadership to maintain cultural integrity during organizational scaling.

Location: Hybrid (must work onsite from NYC hub 3 days per week)

Salary: $144,000–$168,000 USD

What you will do

  • Lead high-priority strategic initiatives including performance review cycles and talent mapping programs.
  • Translate organizational strategy into practical tools, playbooks, and processes that People Business Partners and managers can adopt.
  • Coordinate across People Operations, Analytics, and Legal teams to ensure scalability and compliance.
  • Identify and implement AI-forward solutions to automate workflows and enhance decision-making within the People organization.
  • Provide operational support to Business Partners as needed to ensure smooth program execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, consulting, Chief of Staff, or People strategy roles in scaling environments.
  • Proven ability to own end-to-end execution of complex, multi-workstream people programs.
  • Experience applying AI tools to operational or people-related workflows.
  • Strong systems-thinking and data-driven approach to design and measurement.
  • Exceptional clarity in written communication and documentation.
  • Ability to handle sensitive performance and employee relations matters with maturity and discretion.

Nice to have

  • Background in high-growth startup environments.
  • Direct experience in performance management or manager effectiveness initiatives.
  • Familiarity with scaling HR infrastructure from reactive to proactive systems.
