Internal Tools and DevOps Engineer

Location: Montreal, Canada; full-time onsite

Salary: CAD 70,000–95,000 per year, with benefits

What you will do

• Own and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines, runners, environments, and release workflows.
• Build internal dashboards connecting engineering, operations, and business data.
• Develop Odoo integrations, custom modules, workflows, and automations using modern APIs.
• Improve developer productivity through internal tooling, automation, and infrastructure.
• Manage Google Workspace, identity and access control, onboarding/offboarding, office IT, networking, and hardware.
• Monitor system health, maintain data quality, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability and performance.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in DevOps, internal tooling, IT systems, or Odoo administration.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or similar platforms.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills for internal applications or automation.
• Experience administering Odoo or similar ERP and business management platforms.
• Comfort with APIs, integrations, automation workflows, Git, and collaborative software development.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and service-oriented skills.

Nice to have

• Python, Next.js, Node.js, Google Workspace administration, OAuth, or SSO experience.
• Knowledge of networking, DNS, VPNs, office IT infrastructure, PostHog, or Grafana.
• Experience with REST, XML-RPC, or JSON-RPC integrations.
• Interest in robotics, hardware, or Physical AI.
