What you will do

• Oversee the annual technical roadmap for Systems and Infrastructure engineering teams prioritizing business impact and technical risk.
• Drive automation of Joiner-Mover-Leaver lifecycle processes to reduce manual toil.
• Collaborate with Security on incident response and lead post-mortems for system outages.
• Lead technical liaison efforts for Workplace and HR on global connectivity and device trust initiatives.
• Review and approve architecture designs for Okta workflows, MDM policies, and network security configurations.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure service quality and redundancy.
• Directly manage and mentor engineering staff focusing on career growth and technical standards.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States with remote work capability.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent with 8+ years IT engineering experience and 3+ years in leadership.
• Expertise in Okta as IdP (SAML, SCIM, OIDC, Workflows) and administration of Google Workspace and Microsoft O365.
• Deep knowledge of MDM systems (Jamf, Intune) and modern networking/physical security stacks (Meraki, Verkada).
• Experience in 100% cloud-native environments with zero on-prem footprint.
• Strong automation and scripting skills (Python, Bash, APIs) and excellent communication abilities.
