TL;DR

IT Manager (Healthtech): Leading the IT Engineering function and managing day-to-day operations to ensure the reliability and scalability of enterprise systems with an accent on identity management, endpoint security, and SaaS optimization. Focus on driving systemic solutions to eliminate recurring issues and scaling secure onboarding/offboarding workflows.

Location: Remote (US) or Hybrid (Local to New York, NY or Denver, CO)

Salary: $95,200 - $150,000 USD

What you will do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT Engineers, managing hiring, onboarding, and performance.
  • Own the delivery of IT Engineering projects, including planning, prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee administration and optimization of SSO, MDM, and SaaS platforms such as Office 365.
  • Ensure onboarding and offboarding workflows are scalable, secure, and compliant.
  • Partner with Security, Engineering, and Business teams to define and enforce best practices.
  • Act as the final escalation point for complex IT Engineering and Helpdesk issues.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in IT engineering or systems administration.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
  • Strong background in SSO platforms (Okta, OneLogin, Auth0) and MDM solutions (Intune).
  • Experience as an SME for Office 365 and supporting Mac hardware in distributed workforces.
  • Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira Service Desk.
