What you will do

  • Lead and develop the US-based People Operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and empathy.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on US employment law, specifically across California, New York, and Texas.
  • Champion AI and automation initiatives to streamline service delivery and eliminate manual operational tasks.
  • Manage complex employee escalations while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Total Rewards, and People Technology teams to execute strategic initiatives.
  • Use data-driven insights to monitor team performance and improve regional compliance and service outcomes.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of HR experience with significant expertise in US employment law (CA, NY, TX).
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including mentoring and coaching direct reports.
  • Proven experience implementing AI, automation, or HR service delivery technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday configuration, testing, and validation.
  • Ability to translate complex legal requirements into simple, actionable operational guides.
  • Strong program management skills to handle multiple complex projects with strict accountability.

Nice to have

  • Experience building foundational HR processes from scratch in a scaling organization.
  • Track record of influencing stakeholders across different functions and geographies.
