Principal Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Remote US; major stakeholders are based in San Francisco.

Salary: $147,000–$293,000 annual base salary, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build digital experiences for millions of online life insurance shoppers.
• Own the consumer journey from acquisition and onboarding through needs assessment and insurance purchase.
• Use consumer insights, data, experimentation, and analytics to improve user experience and conversion rates.
• Educate consumers about life insurance and help them select appropriate coverage.
• Reduce friction and motivate users to complete applications.
• Bring new products, including Indexed Universal Life and Whole Life insurance, to market.

Requirements

• 10+ years of total experience in the technology industry.
• 5+ years of product management experience at a high-growth technology company.
• Experience building consumer products used by millions of people.
• Ability to develop, test, and refine hypotheses using data, user insights, and market trends.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills; experience with SQL and Amplitude is beneficial.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, and other stakeholders while driving ambitious goals with a high degree of ownership.
