TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (hirify.global): Driving growth for the events and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) proposition by deepening relationships and converting existing Perk accounts into active, repeat-event buyers with an accent on understanding the events landscape and building trusted-advisor relationships. Focus on proactively identifying seasonal triggers, engaging accounts ahead of planning cycles, and articulating the Perk Events value proposition to account stakeholders.

Location: Must be based within commuting distance of hirify.global hubs.

What you will do

  • Conduct structured discovery conversations to uncover current events spend and unmet needs.
  • Map stakeholder landscapes within accounts, identifying who owns MICE and events budgets.
  • Build and maintain an opportunity pipeline sourced entirely from existing Perk accounts, tracked in CRM (Salesforce).
  • Articulate Perk Events value proposition and MICE capability to account stakeholders.
  • Qualify and brief events leads internally, ensuring a smooth handover to the Perk Events conversion team.
  • Act as the bridge between existing commercial account relationships and the events/MICE proposition.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in business development, account growth, or sales role within the events SaaS space, corporate travel management company (TMC), events agency, or hospitality group.
  • Proven track record of growing revenue within an existing account base through structured outbound prospecting initiatives.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills; able to build rapport quickly and influence without authority.
  • English: fluent, written and spoken, to a professional business standard.
  • Experience working in European and/or North American markets.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the applicable location.

Nice to have

  • Other languages desired: German, French are nice to have.
  • Understanding of the MICE landscape.
  • Understanding of procurement cycles and how large organizations plan and budget for events.
